I'm a junk food junkie. And it's bad. But I'm about to reveal the truth of my favorite foods.

Blogging challenge day 6: 3 personality traits I'm proud of

My first thought is, just 3? But seriously, let's get on with it.

1. I'm loyal. Like a dog. lol. I stand by my friends and loved ones, even when they do stupid stuff.

2. I'm unique. I'm not just one of those crazy girls. I'm a little bit of a Wacky personality but also sweet at the same time. 

3. I'm sometimes silly. I like to make silly faces and duck lips and buggy eyes.

Ok that was lame. But it's hard to come up with stuff on the spot.

Blogging challenge day 5: my guilty pleasure

This is a tough one. Most of the things I like are very well known to the world. I'm not one to hide my interests. 

My latest obsession is a game called "quarriers". Our next door neighbors got it, and we have played for hours and hours so far. It is quite easy, and a bit of luck helps you out with the randomness.

It's a dice game and you have spells and wizards and all sorts of monsters and things. Basically it is for the lover of Dungeons and Dragons. But also for anyone who loves a fun game that is never exactly the same twice.

Blogging challenge day 4: earliest childhood memory

I have a really hard time remembering anything from my childhood. All that I remember comes from photos and home videos. It's sad really. I think I need to be hypnotized. 

I do remember that I loved playing barbies. I loved reading "the babysitters club little sister" books. I would sit in my room and listen to Roxette tapes and drawing pictures of fashion. 

If I could remember more, I would be very thankful. But I really don't.

Blogging challenge day 3: meaning behind the name "Gleamogirljoelle"

Gleamogirljoelle is my "business name". How in the world did I come up with that?? Well when I was getting ready to start my YouTube channel, I wanted to come up with a word that describes my personal style. At the time, "emo" was a popular word. And I bought most of my wardrobe from Hot Topic, which was appropriate at the time. But I also had the part of me that is stylish and glamorous. So I combined "glam" and "emo" and came up with the word "gleamo". And the Joelle part, yeah well that's my birth name. 

So there you have it. I hope that was informative.

31 Day Blog Challenge Day 2: 20 Facts about Me!

So for the blog post topic today, I have to come up with 20 facts about me…

Here it goes…

1.       My birthday is February 16 (I will be 29 this year)

2.       I grew up with blue eyes, but they changed once I got to my 20’s, and now they are green

3.       I am a natural dirty blonde/light brown hair. I dye my hair black.

4.       I am 5’ 4” tall

5.       I wear a size 7 ½ shoe.

6.       My favorite drink is Diet Coke

7.       On my bucket list is to meet Joss Whedon. I would love to be an extra is something he creates.

8.       I have a LOT of allergies. I am allergic to a lot of fruits, vegetables and nuts. Makeup allergies are the worst (I am allergic to e.l.f. eye products)

9.     My favorite TV show of all time is Buffy the Vampire Slayer

10.   I really really don’t like the Kardashians

11.   My favorite singer is Lights. I have seen her in concert 10 times (literally)

12.   I have 3 tattoos (more coming this year)

13.   My favorite band is Paramore. I met them in 2004, and have seen them in concert 4 times

14.   I love reading, and I prefer to hold books in my hand, NOT an e-reader. (I do have a Nook though)

15.   I have one blood sister. Her name is Jayme and she is 3 years older than me.

16.   I have been filming youtube videos for 5 (almost 6) years. My first channel is still active (seeingpink7)

17.   I have had the same phone number since I was 16.

18.   I did not get my driver’s license till I was 20 years old. This was by choice.

19.   I am engaged, and hope to be married by March 2015 (eek)

20.   I have a dog. She is a 6 year old miniature poodle named Xena. She is the color apricot.

Blog challenge day 1: Introduction

Hi. Hello there. I'm Joelle. I write blogs. I also film videos on YouTube under the name "Gleamogirljoelle", which is probably how you stumbled across this blog in the first place. I live in Virginia with my fiancé Anna and our miniature poodle Xena. I enjoy reading, playing The Sims 3, and browsing Instagram and Pinterest. I am excited about 2015. I'm getting married, my friend is getting married, and I'm trying to lose that extra belly fat. Thanks to everyone who is reading this blog.
